Our location and area served

Station 25’s rescue vessel is based in Vesuvius Harbour on Salt Spring Island, the largest of the Southern Gulf Islands. The Gulf Islands offer some of the finest recreational boating in the world. We have protected waters and beautiful islands, but occasionally significant tides, currents and changeable weather.

We serve communities on the east coast of Vancouver Island, all of the Gulf Islands and the large tourist population visiting the region year-round. Our coverage focuses especially on the Samsun Narrows, the Stuart, Pylades and Trincomali Channels - and we are occasionally called out beyond.
